We left Seneca at 10:45 and followed beautiful mountain roads and ended up at Sumptor around 6:00. We pulled into town and all of main street was decorated and roped with yellow tap. We knew for sure they were having a parade for our arrival. We felt kind of bad as we drove down the main street and had numerous people yell at us to get out of the way since it was not for us at all, but it was a huge flea market festival. We had two river crossings which we will post photos on and saw one bear. Once again, the most wild life we have seen are open range cattle. My theory is that the cattle hear us coming and don’t have many visitors so they all scramble to get on the road to see who’s coming. Aaron thinks they come to the road to see what kind of atv’s we are riding. Whatever!! We ended up traveling 140 miles which is a stroke of business for an older guy, a medium age guy and a kid. We would have gotten to our destination quicker, but the kid kept stopping cause he was tired. AJ needs to get his act together if he wants to keep riding with the big dogs. We are managing to save our exact routes on the GPS so I can sell these maps for a fortune and retire. That way I can do this trip every year. That’s it for the day |
